🎙️ A NEW EPISODE OF KINGDOM TALK IS HERE!
Decisions made in county government affect our everyday lives—from the roads we travel and the services we depend on to how our tax dollars are spent and the future of our community.
But how much do we really understand about how county government works, who makes these decisions, and how we can have a voice in the process?
In this episode of Kingdom Talk, I sit down with Mark Harrison, Chairman of the Sumner County Commission, for an informative conversation about the structure of county government, the responsibilities of our elected officials, and how decisions are made that impact the families of Sumner County.
We take a closer look at the role of the County Commission, how local government operates, and why understanding the process is an important part of being an informed and engaged citizen.
Because the decisions being made today will help shape the community our children inherit tomorrow.
My hope is that this conversation encourages you to ask questions, seek understanding, and recognize that your voice matters.
You don’t have to hold public office to make a difference. Sometimes, making a difference begins with simply becoming informed.
📖 FAITH MOMENT
“For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.” — Proverbs 11:14 (NIV)
Scripture reminds us of the importance of wisdom, counsel, and responsible leadership. As citizens, we have an opportunity to seek understanding, pray for those entrusted with leadership, and take an active role in the communities God has placed us in.
Being informed is not just about politics. It’s about stewardship.

💬 If you could ask your county commissioners ONE question about how Sumner County government operates, what would it be?
Leave your thoughts in the comments. I want Kingdom Talk to be a place where our community can listen, learn, ask questions, and engage respectfully.
