šŖļø The Storm Was Coming⦠But God Was Already There! š
Sometimes God reminds us of His presence in the most unexpected moments.
What started as a girlsā trip to Panama City Beach to celebrate my 40th birthday turned into an unexpected opportunity to meet Stephanie and the crew from The Weather Channel! š¤š
As storm clouds gathered over the Gulf, I found myself thinking about something much bigger than the weather.
Life is full of storms.
Some storms come with warnings. Others arrive unexpectedly. Some threaten our comfort, while others challenge our faith, our families, and everything we hold dear.
But one truth remains:
The storm may be powerful, but our God is greater! š
We donāt always know what tomorrow holds, but we can trust the One who holds tomorrow.
š Psalm 46:1
āGod is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.ā
God doesnāt promise that weāll never experience difficulties, but He is our refuge when those difficulties come.
And sometimes, our greatest responsibility is not simply to weather the storm ourselves, but to help prepare and protect those entrusted to our care.
That brings me to something especially close to my heart.
šļø EPISODE 4 IS NOW LIVE!
š« School Boards ā Why Should We Care?
Our children are growing up in a world filled with challenges, decisions, and influences that will shape their futures.
As parents and community members, we have a responsibility to understand whatās happening in our schools and who is making the decisions that affect our children.
In Episode 4 of Kingdom Talk with Macy King, I sit down with:
Tammy Hayes ā School Board Member
Dr. Scott Langford ā Director of Schools
Together, we explore the role of school boards, why local education leadership matters, and why informed parental involvement is so important.
Because hereās something I firmly believe:
Our children need parents who are informed, engaged, and willing to stand up for their future!
We cannot always control the storms our children will face, but we can help equip them with the foundation, wisdom, and support theyāll need to navigate them.
And that begins with being present, informed, and involved.

š Seeing Sumner County Through a Kingdom Lens
Kingdom Talk was created with a simple mission: to encourage meaningful conversations where faith, family, freedom, and truth meet community leadership.
Because faith doesnāt stop at the church doors.
It should influence how we raise our children, serve our neighbors, seek wisdom, and participate in the communities God has entrusted to us.
We may not be able to stop every storm, but we can choose to face lifeās challenges with faith, wisdom, courage, and a willingness to act.
š¬ LETāS HAVE A KINGDOM CONVERSATION!
Whatās one storm God has brought you through that strengthened your faith?
